What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be at the center of our efforts to raise the bar in Nucleopolyhedrovirus (NPV) production. You’ll combine lab-based research with strategic process thinking to improve our Insectary and Production Operations. You’ll lead research experiments, guide team members, and help shape how we grow, produce, and deliver world-class biological products.
Lead Research & Innovation: Design and conduct experiments to optimize production workflows and insect health.
Drive Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency in our operations.
Analyze & Report: Interpret data, write detailed research reports, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
Mentor & Collaborate: Train and guide lab assistants and technicians while working closely with QA/QC and production teams.
Think Strategically: Look beyond the science—understand the “why” behind what we do and how your work impacts farmers and food systems globally.
What You Bring
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field required
4+ years of relevant experience
Master’s or PhD is a plus
Experience working with insects or biological systems preferred
Experience with R statistical language preferred
Skills & Mindset:
Passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement
Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and scientific documentation
Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
